ABOUT SALTBOX OYSTER CO
When I started developing the idea for Saltbox Oyster Co, I reflected so much on my career as a cook and a chef. Walking around New York City as a cook in the 90’s to being an executive chef in San Francisco. I always knew the core of my cooking revolved around seafood. It’s what I love procuring, cooking and eating. Saltbox Oyster Co is about the celebration of seafood. It’s to pay respect to the people responsible for bringing us treasures from the water. These watermen put in a tremendous amount of work harvesting, growing and preparing the seafood we enjoy so much and it is our responsibility at Saltbox Oyster Co to present and serve their harvest with the same passion and respect. We recognize that these people are on the water no matter the weather, their bodies show the hard work, the weathered hands, the sun beaten faces, all are sacrifices they make for us. We at Saltbox Oyster Co share the same drive, the same passion. It is my pleasure to bring you Saltbox Oyster Co. We have all worked hard to bring this to you and we do it because we want to share, we do it because we want you to eat well, we do it because you deserve to experience the celebration of Saltbox Oyster Co.
